Art Déco 1925’s
Eternal Modernity
Inspired by the early creations of the French watchmaking house HERBELIN, the Art Déco collection was conceived in the late 1970s. Today, it welcomes a new line named Art Déco 1925’s, featuring a debut model exclusively for women. Bringing a fresh breath of French elegance, its gracefully structured silhouette pays a beautiful tribute to the French artistic movement that flourished at the International Exhibition of Modern Decorative and Industrial Arts, held in Paris in 1925.
A TRIBUTE TO PURITY
Influenced by Art déco vocabulary – order, color, and geometry – the housing in PVD-coated steel Yellow Gold polished (22 x 29.50 mm) boasts a decidedly graphic rectangular shape. Stepped hobnail, its geometric rigor is softened by the curved sapphire crystal top and bottom, which gently rounds off at the edge of the case.
Shimmering under the light, the polished black lacquered dial accentuates the overall architecture with a double, intertwined, mirror-polished gold frame. Devoid of indexes to magnify the purity of the design, it reveals stylized faceted hands that move discreetly beneath the watchmaking house's signature logo.
SOPHISTICATED SIMPLICITY
Magically integrated as a seamless extension of the dial, the strap, tapering elegantly to the pin buckle, sensually embraces the wrist. Complemented by the brilliant black of its supple lizard-embossed leather, it perfectly completes the refined aesthetic of this watchmaking jewel.
Powered by a Swiss-made quartz movement, a guarantee of quality and precision, this Made in France watch was designed, conceived, hand-assembled, adjusted, and controlled in HERBELIN's workshops. Combining noble materials with French watchmaking savoir-faire passed down from father to son for three generations, it embodies the values of the watchmaking house located in the heart of the Jura region, in Franche-Comté, for over 75 years.
Designed specifically for women, this Art Déco 1925's testifies, once again, of the interest carried by the French brand HERBELIN to the lady watches. Since its beginnings in 1947, these have always occupied a place of choice not ceasing to reinvent themselves fil time. Distinguished from day and night, this unveiled novelty is a fine example.
