Introduced in 2022 by French watchmaker HERBELIN, Galet, meaning pebble in French, owes its name to its source of inspiration. Initially available as a self-winding timepiece, the collection now welcomes a new model, the first of a line powered by a quartz movement. Setting itself apart with its reduced size and two-tone steel/yellow gold PVD colour scheme, this watch nonetheless remains faithful to the original design. Exuding sensual elegance in all circumstances, once it has slipped onto your wrist you’ll never want to take it off.
EXCESSIVELY FEMININE
Devised and designed exclusively for women, the curved polished steel case subtly echoes the shape of a pebble, rounded and smoothed by water lapping on a beach or river bed. With meticulously crafted curves and a diameter of 28 mm, it presents a stainless steel bezel with yellow gold PVD coating that showcases the dial.
Its precious natural white mother-of-pearl background shimmers in the light, enhancing the soft, warm sparkle of the gold on the hands and hour markers. Set with zircons, interspersed with polished applied Roman numerals, they discreetly mark the hours and minutes highlighted by a raised circle at the centre.

Extending the softness of the ensemble – graced with a fluted crown set with black onyx – the bracelet completes the watch’s chic allure. Providing suppleness and comfort when worn, its polished links with their voluptuous design are delicately orchestrated, giving pride of place to the luxury of detail.

French-made – designed, engineered, assembled by hand, adjusted, and inspected at the HERBELIN workshops in the Jura mountains of the Franche-Comté region – this everyday ally blends classicism and modernity, standing the test of time and never ageing.
