Against All Odds
To celebrate the 35the anniversary of the NEWPORTmodel, Maison Herbelin enriches the range with a new maritime-inspiration model: the NEWPORT 35th Tide Graph. More than a watch, this new timepiece also indicates the tide levels based on lunar movements.
TIDE INDICATOR
Appreciated by sailors, seaside strollers, and surfers alike, the tide function is a user-friendly horological complication. The dial of the NEWPORT 35th Maréographe is divided into four zones, each representing a tidal cycle: High tide, Low tide, Rising tide, and Falling tide. Simply position the tide hand, adorned with a red anchor, according to the local tide table. A single glance then suffices to visualize the time and the stage of the tidal cycle.
A DISTINCT MARINE DNA
The NEWPORT 35th Maréographe undeniably upholds the lineage of previous models: central attachment, a wide bezel adorned with six screws, and a marine wheel engraved on the fluted crown. Water-resistant up to 100 meters, this watch features a domed strap crafted from a durable technical textile fabric, commonly used in the nautical world. Its navy blue color, stitched with white to echo the dial's hue, and its red flange points, lend a chic sport style to the model.
